That under describes these as the Cherries are in fact heavenly, they are called Griottines, made using a very special type of Morello Cherry, the Oblachinska cherry found only in the Balkans.
To conserve the flavour and physical characteristics of the fruit, the that have been soaked (Maceration) in Kirsch within 6 hours of picking. After sorting they then go through further macerations based on various alcohols and secret recipes to create a stunningly tasty cherry, which we then dice up finely and fleck though the fondant.
